I don’t yigg on Route 66
no way i’m eating this shit!
another plagiarist coming up…
we all know digg.com, not exactly a social-weirdo site, but one where you can put your links, other users will rate it (eventually) and stuff like that. overall an okily-dokily site… :-)
what i found out lately was that there’s a “hey-lets-also-do-web2.0-stuff” site copying the concept of digg (poorly, i might add) in germany. even the name “yigg.de” sounds strange…

more than that, they’ve taken a hostage! the hamster of the kids-xp icon collection of everaldo! without permission! i wonder if everaldo knows about that…

just wondering:
if you are so different from digg.com, why did you choose a name that sounds exactly like it? shouldn’t you rather have a more unique name (like “strudel.de” or something like that) to express that uniqueness?
oh, and i forgot: the template you’re using is a free template (freecsstemplates.org i guess) so approximately another thousand sites look like this… if that isn’t unique… ;)

First of all… yigg is no “hey lets also do web 2.0 stuff” site… We are online since december 2005. And we have a number of features digg doesnt have:
- groups
- a interactiv spy (you can comment, yigg etc. without leaving it)
- discussion boards
- Mapintegration and geotagging
- Wordpress and Browserplugin (dualpost from your blog to yigg)
- User-Blacklisting Features
- Complete adjustable interface
- Newsfilter (filter urls, keywords)
- Profile Tags
- Bookmarkintegration
- the service to create a blog xxx.yiggblogs.de
and… we contacted everaldo more then one time.
Sorry for my bad english, but you should get more informations before you come up with such a blogpost if you have no clue about us.
